A managed custodial account lets a parent invest on behalf of their child, with the portfolio professionally managed and the assets handed over when the child comes of age. It's a way for families to build long-term wealth for their kids without needing to pick stocks themselves.

It opens investing to families who want to give their child a financial head start but don't know where to begin — removing the expertise barrier so anyone can set their kid up for the future, not just the financially fluent.
